Results of simulation studies of a paired release-recapture design (Figure 1) when all survival and detection parameters are homogeneous across all release groups except λ ₁ ≠ λ ₂. In this case, models M ₂ to M ₇ are invalid. Detection probabilities were simulated at either P = 0.90 or 0.95 at all locations.
