  1. The first tag id refers to the instantaneous measurement (transmitter function i), the second tag id refers to the statistical data (transmitter function ii). The tag date, tag site and first/last observation is also given. For tagging locations not named on Fig. 2, the distance from the estuary is given in kilometres. The fish were not weighed during marking, but using observed weight of similar size fish from the same river we estimated the tag burden of the smallest fish to be < 1.4%. The tag weighs 4.1 g in water
