A hypothetical example of co-occurrence of behavioral modes. Behavioral mode 1-1 extracted from the time-series speed data and behavioral mode 2-1 extracted from the time-series heart rate data co-occur frequently. In this example, the meanings of behavioral modes 1-1 and 2-1 are translated as the cruising mode and relaxing mode based on their respective value ranges. This example also indicates that the frequency of the co-occurrences for the male seabird is higher than that for the female seabird
