Spatial distribution of foraging locations of adult female spoonbills in the Wadden Sea south of their breeding colonies on Schiermonnikoog. Data are pooled across individuals (N = 8), months (March–October) and years (2016–2019). Locations are here defined as latitude and longitude rounded to the third decimal. To improve readability, the density, reflecting the total number of 0.4 s segments of acceleration data estimated as foraging at each location across all individuals, is plotted on a log-scale.
