  1. “Actual’ movements are determined by the Monte Carlo method (MC), whereas any pair of detections not in the same location are considered in the ‘total’ column. Actual movement (km) is the sum of monthly movement distances that pass the MC test (upstream or downstream at α = 0.05), whereas total movement is the sum of all potential movements. Bias is the ratio total movements to actual movements
